Rust Spirit - Rust activator - Owatrol

Natural rust activator to create decorative effects on raw ferrous supports and any other support coated with the special Reactiv leaf rust coating .

Properties :

• Gives a decorative touch to your materials.
• Applies with a sprayer or a cloth.
• Easy to use.
• Yield: approximately 10 to 15 m²/L depending on the desired decorative effect and final color.

Application :

1. Shake well before use.
2. Ready to use, do not dilute.
3. Apply the Rust spirit on healthy, dry and clean supports intended to be decorated.
   This application can be carried out directly using the sprayer or a transfer tool such as a cloth, brush, sponge, etc., thus making it possible to obtain additional decorative effects.
4. On raw ferrous supports, the formation of rust must begin quickly if the support is not protected. Otherwise, sand the support to return to the raw metal before applying the Rust spirit.
5. Repeat the application of Rust spirit regularly (15/30 min intervals) until the desired effect and color are obtained.
6. Once the decorative effect has been obtained, stop the development of rust using:

   b. Either an application of the special Spirit sealer neutralizer.
7. To obtain optimal protection for your decor, we recommend the application of Natural varnish matt varnish or Rustol owatrol (satin-gloss appearance).
