Blocking Primer - Protective underlay for sensitive substrates - Owatrol

To be used as an undercoat , it better protects your sensitive materials from acid attacks.
Intended for tannic woods indoors and outdoors , it is your perfect ally to ensure effective results.

Properties :

• Protective undercoat for acid-sensitive surfaces intended to be covered with Rust Spirit, Copper Spirit or Bronze Spirit products.
• Undercoat blocking acid attacks and protecting the support.
  It thus avoids the phenomena of rising wood tannins or the “softening” of sensitive plastics.
• Scentless.

Application :

1. Shake well before use.
2. Product ready to use, do not dilute.
3. Apply Blocking primer to a healthy, dry and clean surface.
   Plastics must first be treated using Absolute primer.
4. The product can be applied with a brush or roller, short or medium bristles depending on the appearance of the surface.
5. Apply the product between 5°C and 25°C in the absence of bad weather and residual humidity.
6. Wait 8 hours before covering with a product from the Owatrol spirit range.

Destination :

Blocking primer can be applied indoors and outdoors on tannic woods (oak, chestnut, etc.) and on plastics sensitive to acids: carry out a preliminary test or contact us.

Conditioning :

0.5L and 2.5L.
