Owatrol ATG - Anti-slip wood protection - Owatrol

Reinforced UV nourishing protection coupled with an anti-slip system for boat decks, pontoons , Teak copings, etc.

Properties :

• Exterior anti-slip protection for all woods protecting against climatic aggressions (graying, etc.).
• Contains non-slip microbeads based on micronized polypropylene wax (particle size: 100 microns).
• Protects and decorates the wood durably. Keeps its natural appearance, avoids any greying.
• Great ease of application.
• Practical performance will vary depending on the type, condition, species of wood and method of application.
  More or less 13 m² per liter per coat.

Application :

1. Mix well for 2 to 3 minutes with a suitable helical mixer.
2. Repeat the operation if necessary during the application.
3. Apply a layer of Owatrol-ATG over the entire board in the direction of the wood grain.
4. Leave to dry for at least 6 hours (at 20°C and 60% RH) then apply a second coat.
   Complete drying 24 hours.
5. If applied by spray gun, immediate smoothing is always recommended to improve penetration and give a uniform appearance.
6. Through-dry: 5 days.

Commissioning of a pontoon or boat deck: light traffic between 24 hours and 5 days.
Normal traffic beyond 5 days.
Ambient temperature and relative humidity influence drying time.

Destination :

• Outside.
• All wooden structures (new or old) used in the marine or other world.
• Dense, exotic woods.
• Brushed or planed finish.
