Epoxy glosscoat - Epoxy gloss resin - Vosschemie Soloplast

Epoxy glosscoat is a solvent-free, odorless and transparent 2-component casting coating based on epoxy.
Suitable for gloss casting and as protection for decorative applications.

Applications:

• Casting or glossy coating of glosscoat on wood, cardboard, metal or plastic.
• Is reasonably UV resistant and can be colored with PU pigments or epoxy pigments.

Treatment :

1. Mix the two components in a ratio of 100/40 parts by weight.
   Pot life: 40 min.
2. Drying after 24 hours at a temperature of 23°C.
3. Fully cured after 7 days.
4. If necessary, apply the first coat as a contact coat by brush or roller and leave to dry for 30 to 40 minutes.
5. Then color the next layers and pour over them.
6. Apply with a brush or pour and spread with a spatula.
7. Make a maximum of half a kilogram at one time, depending on the processing time.

Note : To improve UV resistance and/or to achieve greater hardness/scratch resistance, we recommend finishing the Glosscoat with G8-Super or Gloss Lacquer Spray.

Security :

• Always wear appropriate protective clothing and gloves.
• Avoid prolonged contact with skin.
• Tool cleaner: cleaner (ecological substitute for acetone.)
