Silicone NL - Tear-resistant liquid rubber - Vosschemie Soloplast

Silicone NL is a polycondensation, highly elastic and self-releasing 2-component silicone molding material that reacts after the addition of hardener.
This rubber has high tear strength and good chemical resistance.

• Can be used on all surfaces except glass or ceramic.
• Moldings can be cast in these molds with UP – EP – PU – zellane.
• Can be used in the food industry, especially for casting chocolate and paraffin.

Applications:

• For the production of negative molds with a difficult design and deep incisions.
• Is liquid and can be poured easily.
  Minor withdrawal.
• If necessary, thicken with C-comp. or dilute with Sico Fluid.
• For use in the food sector, it is best to place the hardened mold in water at +/- 70-80°C for a few hours and let it cool to neutralize the silicone.

Treatment:

1. Always ensure a dry and grease-free surface.
2. Mix the two components in a weight ratio of 5-10% and brush on a first coat.
   This ensures a finer reproduction of all details.
3. Then pour the mixed rubber over the object.
4. For a mold to smooth you can optionally thicken with thickener C 0.5-1%.
5. Pot life: about 45 min at 20°C.
6. Fully cured after at least 8 hours.
7. Minimum wall thickness 10 mm.
8. If you are unsure of the substrate, it is best to make a test piece or use Trennspray release agent.

Security :

• Always wear appropriate protective clothing and gloves.
• Only the hardener is irritating to eyes and skin, as well as flammable.
• Tool cleaner: M cleaner (ecological substitute for acetone)

Conditioning :

• 500g, 1kg.
