Epoxy BK - Epoxy laminating and casting resin with hardener - Vosschemie Soloplast

Epoxy BK is a solvent-free and odorless 2-component epoxy resin for processing glass, aramid and carbon fibres.

• Can also be used as casting resin for e.g. electronic components.
• Used where light and strong constructions are required.
• Hardens without touching the surface.

Applications:

• As a coating and casting compound on various substrates.
• Transparent yellow laminating resin with thixotropic properties.
• As a binder for fillers such as aircell, sand or quartz flour.
• And also to get rid of electronic connections.
• Can be colored with EP-Pigments (5%).
• Can be used in aquariums and terrariums.
• Resistant to a temperature of 80°C.
• Laminating resin that you can ideally combine with fiberglass, carbon fiber or aramid fiber.

Treatment :

1. Mix the two components in a weight ratio of 100/60.
   Pot life: 40 min at 23°C.
   Dry after 24 hours.
2. Waiting time between coats: 40-60 min.
   Processing temperature: 15-25°C.
3. Full hardening after 7 days.
4. Apply by brush or roller.
5. Do not finish too large quantities at a time depending on processing time.

Security :

• Always wear appropriate protective clothing and gloves.
• Avoid prolonged contact with skin.
• Tool cleaner: M cleaner (ecological substitute for acetone.)

Conditioning :

• 500g, 1kg.
