      GS241 - Sanitary and glazing sealant - Illbruck

      Mono-component sealant based on polysiloxane for seals in the sanitary and construction fields.

      Polymerization is done by reaction with the humidity of the air.

      Scope of application

      Suitable for seals in sanitary and construction areas, such as connection joints of sinks, showers, bathtubs, earthenware joints, sinks as well as connection joints around frames.

      Advantage: 

      • Extremely durable.
      • Sanitary use.
      • Very high permanent elasticity.
      • Resistance to aging and weathering.
      • Resistance to common cleaning products.
      • Sustainable elasticity.

      Preparation: 

      • Supports should be dry, clean, dust-free and degreased.
      • Substrates such as glass, glaze, ceramics, enamel, porcelain and paint do not require primer application. For other media see the table of primary applications. Check the adhesion beforehand.

      Implementation: 

      • Apply the sealant in the seal, avoiding the formation of bubbles. Fill the seal completely.
      • Smooth with a spatula of suitable shape. Optionally use the Smoothing Liquid.
      • It is imperative to smooth before skin formation.

      Hygiene and safety precautions

      • Keep out of reach of children.
      • Avoid contact with skin and eyes.

      Cleaning: 

      • Uncross-linked putty can be cleaned with illbruck Cleaner.
      • Once hardened, the sealant can only be removed mechanically with suitable tools.

      Conditioning: 

      • Cartridge of 310 ml.
      • Color: black, white, gray, transparent.
