MN Vlekstop - Anti-stain for natural stones - Lithofin

Lithofin MN Fleckstop is a ready-to-use, solvent-based impregnation that contains high quality water and oil resistant components.

It penetrates the surface and forms an invisible and very thin film in the capillaries. This prevents the penetration of oil, grease and water and forces them to remain on the surface, and this, from 12 to 36 hours for marble and limestone and up to 48 hours for granite, gneiss and the like.

During this period, the oil can be wiped off without leaving stains.

The effectiveness also depends on the base coat and the amount of product absorbed. The appearance of the surface is not modified.

On some dark stones, the tint may be slightly accentuated. Water penetration is greatly reduced but water vapor permeability is largely retained.

The substances are UV-resistant and do not yellow.

Application domain :

This product can be used both indoors and outdoors and is suitable for almost all types of natural stone with a polished, honed or rough surface.

Also suitable for artificial stones and composites.

Particularly suitable for walls, floors and other stain-sensitive surfaces such as tables, window sills and worktops.

Note: the sensitivity of the stone to acids is retained.

Manual :

The surface to be treated must be absorbent, clean and completely dry. The right tools: cloth, brush, sheepskin applicator. Without previous experience and in doubt, it is advisable to test on a test surface.

1. For large surfaces, work in areas of 10-15m².
2. Apply a copious and even amount of Lithofin MN Fleckstop until the surface appears wet.
3. Let the product penetrate for about 15 minutes.
4. Distribute the excess product and eliminate puddles and any traces or marks. For very absorbent coatings or on dry stains, it may be necessary to add more product.
5. Remove any excess product with a dry cloth within 30 minutes of application. For large surfaces, remove the excess with a rubber squeegee then with a monobrush equipped with a white pad or a sheepskin.

Important: the product must penetrate the surface. Do not allow excess product to dry on the surface.

• it depends on the absorption rate of the support. Consumption is reduced by half during the second application.
