FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions
- On which stones can I apply MN Liquid Polish?
It is designed for all natural limestone or sensitive stones, such as marble, bluestone, travertine, terrazzo, etc. It is not recommended for granite or very hard surfaces requiring other types of treatment. - Does the product make the floor slippery?
No, once properly applied and buffed, it leaves a satin sheen that is not slippery, even on an indoor floor. - Is it possible to use it outdoors?
No, MN Liquid Polish is specifically designed for indoor use. Outdoors, the weather would damage the wax. - Does the product protect against stains?
Yes, but in moderation. It creates a protective film that reduces dirt penetration. For more advanced stain protection, it is advisable to use Lithofin MN Fleckstop water repellent before waxing. - What maintenance is required after application?
Regular cleaning with MN Wash & Clean is sufficient to preserve the glossy effect and protection. - How long does the effect of the polish last?
Depending on the room's use, the protection can last from several weeks to several months. On high-traffic floors, regular renewal is recommended. - Does the product change the color of the stone?
It slightly revives the hues, which accentuates the natural depth of the stone, without altering its original color. - Can MN Liquid Polish be applied to a surface that has already been treated?
Yes, it can be added to a surface already protected by a water repellent or wax, as long as it is clean and dry. - How many coats should be applied?
One coat for a natural satin effect. Two coats for a more intense shine. - How to remove the wax if needed?
To strip an old coating, use Lithofin WAX-OFF or a detergent suitable for waxes.
