Hybrid polymer -based adhesive sealant for bonding and mounting most materials on almost any surface (porous and non-porous).

Instructions for use:

1. Preparation :
   • Do not apply in confined spaces. It is important to ventilate the areas well during application and curing.
   • The surfaces must be solid, clean, dust-free and grease-free.
   • If necessary, degrease with Parasilico Cleaner , MEK, alcohol or ethanol.
   • The user must ensure that the product used is suitable for their intended purpose. If necessary, contact our technical support.
   • Remove any standing water, water film, or drips. Best adhesion is achieved on dry surfaces, but the surface does not need to be completely dry.
2. Primary schools:
   • On absorbent materials, the Hybrid & PU Primer (transparent or black, drying time approx. 15 min.) is recommended.
3. Laid :
   • Apply the product by extruding a bead or dots onto the substrate or the item to be bonded. The beads should be applied in parallel vertical strips so that the humidity in the air between the beads can polymerize the adhesive.
   • Assemble the materials as quickly as possible (within 10 minutes maximum), taking into account the temperature and relative humidity. Adjustments can be made. Tighten securely or tap lightly with a mallet.
   • Achieve a thickness of 3.2 mm between the two faces (using shims or double-sided adhesive) so that the glue can withstand dimensional variations (this is important for outdoor use or in high humidity).
   • If the adhesive layer only needs to absorb minor mutual deformations between building elements, a thinner adhesive layer (min. 1.5 mm) may suffice (for example in interior applications).
   • The initial adhesion is high and thanks to high internal adhesion it is possible to work without a temporary supporting structure; the bonded elements can be moved immediately.
4. Cleaning:
   • If necessary, smooth any excess glue that appears on the edges with a spatula. Remove any fresh glue residue with Parasilico Cleaner , Multi-Purpose Super Cleaner or Cleaning Wipes .
   • After hardening, mechanically remove the hardened elements.
5. Paint :
   • Can be painted after curing with most water-based and solvent-based paints. Curing time depends on the dimensions of the joint.
   • After 48 hours, the surface must first be cleaned before it can be painted.
   • Given the wide variety of paint types available, it is recommended to test the compatibility between the sealant and the paint beforehand.

1. Does Parabond 600 stick to a wet surface?
   Yes, it adheres even to slightly damp surfaces, making it an ideal choice for construction sites.
2. Can Parabond 600 be painted?
   Yes, it can be repainted with most acrylic paints. A preliminary test is recommended.
3. Is it suitable for natural stone?
   Yes, Parabond 600 does not stain natural stone and is compatible with marble, granite, bluestone, etc.
4. Is it resistant to UV rays and inclement weather?
   Yes, it has excellent UV resistance, perfect for outdoor use.
5. Can it be used to glue metal?
   Yes, it bonds most metals (stainless steel, aluminum, steel…) without primer.
6. How long does it take to take?
   It forms a skin in a few minutes and hardens at a rate of 3 mm per 24 h depending on humidity conditions.
7. Is it compatible with PE or PP?
   No, unless a specific primer is used (polyolefins do not adhere naturally).
8. What is the difference between Parabond 600 and 700?
   The 600 is universal, ideal for bonding and sealing. The 700 is more suited to high-strength bonding/heavy objects.
9. Is the sealant frost-resistant?
   Yes, once polymerized it can withstand temperatures from -40 °C to +90 °C.
