Soudafoam SMX - Isocyanate-free polyurethane foam - Soudal

Soudafoam SMX is a flexible construction foam for filling, based on SMX technology. It is isocyanate-free (Swedish Test Report SP F4 17356). The foam has all the characteristics of a traditional PU foam, without the emission of potentially harmful substances.

Features :

• 100% isocyanate-free.
• High filling efficiency.
• Very high stability (no shrinkage and no post-expansion).
• Excellent thermal and acoustic insulation.

Applications:

• Fill and insulate door and window frames. Fill and insulate all types of joints.

Instructions for use:

• Shake the can vigorously for at least 30 seconds.
• Attach the hose to the valve of the can. Turn everything over and press the lever.
• Only partially fill the gaps (approx. 1/3).
• Shake the can regularly during use.
• If applying multiple coats, dampen the surface between each coat.
• After use, thoroughly clean the valve and hose with Soudal FOAMCLEANER.
• Clean uncured foam stains with Soudal FOAMCLEANER.
• Hardened foam can only be removed mechanically, with Soudal PU-remover.
• Operating temperature: +5°C - +30°C.
• Lightly moistening the substrates accelerates hardening and ensures an even better cellular structure.
• Preferably store upright.
