Colored adhesive mortar for plates - Seifert

Characteristics:

Instructions for use:

Preparing support:

• The support must be raw, clean, in good condition, dusted, free of any trace of oil, plaster, milt.
• The wall cannot ooze moisture, nor can it be frozen.
• In the case of dry concrete or a coating, moistening will be carried out a few hours before the plates are placed.
• Check the good adhesion of the existing support.
• Remove all dust, grains and repair them if necessary.
• Scrape residues of varnish, peeling paint or glue.
• If necessary, clean the surface thoroughly with a high-pressure jet and let it dry completely.

implementation and application:

•  Operating temperature: from +5°C to +27°C.
• Open time: ± 30 minutes.
• Adjustability time: ± 20 minutes.
• Shelf life of the mixture: ± 3 hours.

In case of lower temperatures, the bonding time and hardening will be longer. In case of higher temperatures and/or sun and/or wind, the bonding time and hardening will be shorter.

• Do not apply to a soaked, frozen or thawing medium within 48 hours (to reduce the risk of efflorescence).
• Mix 1 bag of 25 kg of Mortar Colored Glue for Wafers with 6 to 6.5 l. of drinking water, or ± 24 to 26% of the water, until a homogeneous paste without mist is obtained. Use a slow-speed electric mixer. Mix well the mortar sticks again after ± 10 minutes.
• Never mix a Mortar Colored Glue for Wafers already spoiled and in bonding condition with fresh mortar, do not add other products.
• Do not add more water as soon as the mixture has begun to take.
• Apply the Mortar Colored Glue for Wafers with a taloche at an angle of 60°. Apply a thin layer on the back of the pads and push them well into the glue on the support, to ensure 100% contact between the two.

After application:

• In hot weather and/or dry wind moisten the surface and possibly protect the surface to guarantee color and quality.
• Protect the re-joined surface for a week for a week against rain and frost to minimize the risk to blooms.
• Our products are manufactured with great care and attention. As we have no impact on climatic or local conditions, dis color differences or efflorescences may occur in some cases. We take no responsibility for the end result.

consumption:

• 5 to 6 m²/bag of 25 kg.

advice:

• The hardness and degree of absorption of the bricks largely determine the adhesion of the mortar. Platelets that are too wet or too dry can lead to low adhesion.
• Shades reproduced on paper should be considered indicative. They cannot be used as an absolute reference.
• Always test a sample for hue validation, under the same climatic conditions as the final work. Remove the sample before starting the work to glue.
• Control the color of the Mortar Colored Glue for Wafers on the bag and judge the Mortar Colored Glue for Wafers before starting work.
• Calculate the correct consumption because we do not take back the bags delivered.
• It is not recommended to clean the façade with a pressure washer.
