Murcol M15 - Adhesive mortar for calibrated terracotta blocks - PTB Compaktuna

Murcol M15 is a dry, ready-to-use adhesive mortar , composed of cleaned and sieved sand, cement and additives of exceptional quality.
Murcol M15 is used for bonding calibrated terracotta blocks.

Manual :

1. The application will always be carried out on a raw, clean surface, free of dust, traces of oil and loose particles.
2. Murcol M15 is prepared with approximately 26 to 28% water, or 6.5 to 7 L of water per 25 kg of product.
3. Pour about 4/5 of the required amount of water into a bowl or mechanical mixer and slowly and evenly add the dry glue.
4. Mix everything with a slow mixer for 3 minutes until you obtain a homogeneous mass without lumps.
5. Then pour in 1/5 of the required amount of remaining water and mix again until a homogeneous mass is obtained.
6. Let the mortar sit for 5 minutes.
7. Then the mortar must be mixed intensively again.
   The glue is now ready to use.
8. The surface of the blocks to be glued must be free of dust.
9. The glue is preferably distributed using a special roller on top of the blocks.
10. To guarantee good adhesion, the gluing rate must be such that the entire surface is covered with glue.
    As an alternative to a roller, the bricks can also be glued after immersion in mortar.
11. The brick to be glued is dipped in a mortar tank with glue.
    The underside of the brick is thus completely covered with glue.
12. The block is then immediately glued to the wall.
    The glue thickness is ± 2 mm.
13. The blocks must be glued within the open time of the glue.
    With a rubber hammer the blocks are tamped into the glue.
14. Excessive glue residues can be removed while the glue is drying (after ± 45 minutes depending on weather conditions).

Consumption :

± 1.5 kg/mm/m² powder

Mix ratio:

± 6.5 L to 7 L per bag (26 to 28% water)

Usage time:

± 2h at 20°C

Conditioning :

25 kg.
