Soudafoil 360 H is a sealant-adhesive, based on SMX hybrid polymer, neutral and elastic, intended for bonding and sealing glazing films both indoors and outdoors.
EC 1 PLUS label: very low VOC emissions .

Features :

• Easy to apply, extrudable (even at low temperatures) and easy to finish in all temperature conditions.
• Excellent adhesion to adhesive tapes and films, with the exception of bitumen, PP, PE, PTFE and silicones.
• Good adhesion to most building materials
• EC 1 PLUS label: very low VOC emissions .
• Free from solvents, halogens, acids or isocyanates
• Permanent elasticity after polymerization and very durable
• UV resistance, water resistance and good resistance to weather conditions
• Very high adhesion (without primer)

Applications:

• Ensures the bonding and sealing of Soudal SWS Inside and Outside strips to each other, as well as to structural materials such as masonry, concrete, plaster, cement, aluminum, wood, etc.
• Particularly suitable for establishing airtight connections at window connections.

Instructions for use:

1. Apply with a manual or pneumatic gun.
2. Apply Soudafoil 360H to the substrate with an uninterrupted layer of approximately 5 mm.
3. Install the tension-free SWS adhesive tape in the wet glue layer and press it down.
4. An uninterrupted layer of adhesive with a thickness of 1 to 2 mm and a width of approximately 25 mm ensures the best curing.
5. Clean Soudafoil 360H materials and tools with Soudal 90A glue cleaner, Swipex or White Spirit until the product has hardened.
6. Once hardened, the product can only be removed mechanically.
7. Finishing: Smoothing with soapy water or Soudal Smoothing Product before film coating.
8. Repair: With the same product.

FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions

1. Can the Soudafoil 360H be used outdoors?
   Yes, it is perfectly resistant to weathering, UV and temperature variations, making it ideal for rainscreen membranes or exterior waterproofing.
2. Does the sealant adhere to wet surfaces?
   It can be applied to slightly damp surfaces, but not to dripping or water-saturated surfaces.
3. Is the Soudafoil 360H compatible with all membranes?
   It is compatible with most PE, PP, aluminum, bituminous, EPDM membranes and technical coatings. If in doubt, an adhesion test is recommended.
4. Can you paint over this sealant?
   Yes, once fully polymerized. Test for compatibility with the paint, as some can slow down polymerization.
5. Is it solvent-free / VOC-free?
   Yes, it is solvent-free, isocyanate-free and EC1 PLUS certified, guaranteeing extremely low emissions.
6. What is the setting time?
   Rapid initial setting with skin formation in 10–15 min. Complete polymerization takes approximately 24–48h depending on the thickness.
7. Can it replace double-sided adhesive for membranes?
   Yes, in most cases it even offers more durable sealing and better mechanical strength.
8. At what temperature can it be used?
   The application must be done between +5°C and +30°C, but once polymerized, it is highly resistant to temperature variations.
