FA870 - Silicone for natural stone - Illbruck

Permanently elastic silicone sealant with neutral cross-linking, with permissible deformation of 20 %.

The FA870 has no migrating components and is therefore very suitable for filling joints in natural stone and other porous materials. This sealant is based on modern oxime technology and is guaranteed 100% MECO-free.

Advantage: 

• Resistant to ultraviolet radiation and weathering.
• Durable elasticity, 20%.
• No discoloration of the edges on natural stone.
• 100% without MECO.

Implementation:

• Prepare the support by following the preparation instructions.
• Cut the spray nozzle to the desired width.
• Place the cartridge in a suitable gun (manual, pneumatic or electric).
• Apply the sealant without leaving air bubbles.
• Smoothing must be done before skin formation.
• To ensure a good quality finish, we recommend using AA301 spray smoothing liquid.
• For best results, we recommend hiding the joint edges with a suitable tape. This tape must be removed before skin forms.

Health and safety precautions: 

• Work only in well-ventilated premises.
• Do not smoke.
• Wear protective clothing.
• Protect eyes and wear protective gloves.
• Largely protect the working area with paper or plastic sheet.

Cleaning: 

For cleaning substrates and tools with sealant residue, we recommend using AT115 Cleaner, AA292 Cleaning Wipes or AA295 Natufix Spray Cleaner.

The hardened material can only be removed mechanically.

• 310 ml cartridge.
• Color: Transparent, Light Grey.
