Applications:

Ready-to-use product for degreasing many surfaces: ovens, grills, ranges, fryers, extraction hoods, kitchen floors, extraction and ventilation filters, storage surfaces, small equipment,... Product approved for food contact.

Instructions for use:

Stripping: (carbonized grease).

1. Spray the undiluted product onto the surfaces to be treated, which have been preheated to 40-50°C.
2. Leave to act for 5 minutes.
3. Scrub with a scouring brush.
4. Rinse with clean water and scrape.
5. Allow to dry.

Degreasing of surfaces:

1. Use with a foam cannon at a dosage of 5 to 10% (5L container).
2. Spray the product onto the different surfaces to be treated.
3. Leave to act for 5 minutes.
4. Scrub as needed using a scouring brush.
5. Scrape off the foam.
6. Rinse with clean water.
7. Allow to dry.

Equipment soaking:

1. Prepare a 10% Decappol solution in hot water.
2. Let it soak.
3. Scrub and rinse.

Soil waterlogging:

1. Prepare a 10% Decappol solution with hot water.
2. Let it soak.
3. Scrub and rinse.

Packaging:

750 ml / 5 Liters.

FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions

1. Can I use Decappol on aluminum?
   No, like all highly alkaline degreasers, it attacks aluminum, copper, and certain alloys. It is designed for surfaces resistant to alkaline products.
2. Is the product dangerous to health?
   This is a powerful professional product, therefore corrosive. The use of gloves, goggles and good ventilation are recommended.
3. Can Decappol be used in a hot oven?
   No, you need to let the surface cool slightly. Ideally, apply it to a warm oven, never a hot one.
4. Does the product leave a strong odor?
   The smell is moderate for a paint stripper, but it is advisable to ventilate during and after use.
5. Is PolTech Decappol suitable for home use?
   Yes, but with caution. It is often used in professional settings, but there is nothing to prevent an individual from using it on a very dirty oven – while strictly adhering to safety instructions.
