Refresh Asphalt - Non-solvent and semi-fluid bituminous emulsion - IKO Pro

Non-solvent and semi-fluid bituminous emulsion , enriched with resins and fillers.

Renovation of worn exterior asphalt coatings and fixing of non-adherent aggregates to the surface.

Implementation :

The substrate must be in good condition, clean, free of grease and free from all loose particles.

The substrate may be slightly damp.

The application temperature must be between 10°C and 30°C.

Fill in potholes and large irregularities beforehand using cold asphalt (IKO pro Tinascoat or IKO rephalt), but wait at least 3 weeks before applying IKO pro Refresh Asphalt.

Thoroughly mix IKO pro Refresh Asphalt to obtain a homogeneous mixture.

Spread the product using a brush or rubber squeegee.

On new asphalt surfaces, apply IKO pro Refresh Asphalt preferably on the still warm asphalt. Leave to dry for 3 to 5 hours without rain.

On any other cold asphalt, the drying time will be more than 5 hours.

Tool cleaning:

• With water if the product layer is still fresh or with white spirit if it is dry.
