Bitumen regenerator - Elastic renovation coating based on bitumen - IKO Pro

Elastic semi-liquid bitumen- based renovation plaster , reinforced with synthetic fibres, which extends the life of the treated surface.

Good resistance to ageing , UV rays and atmospheric influences.

Protection , maintenance and renovation of bituminous roofing membranes, corrugated sheets of fiber cement and concrete in order to prolong their lifespan.

Implementation :

The substrate must be in good condition, clean, free of grease and free from all loose particles.

If there are green deposits (algae, mould, etc.), remove them with a stiff broom and clean the surface with IKO pro Stop Green Deposits .

Repair local aging phenomena, such as blisters and cracks, using IKO pro Mastic Toiture .

Impregnate porous surfaces and old bituminous membranes beforehand by applying a coat of primer (IKO pro Primer Bitumen Adérosol - Primer Bitumen SR - Primer ECOL'eau).

Apply IKO pro Regenerating Bitumen with a brush or roller in two coats. Wait 24 hours between coats.

In order to avoid the formation of cracking, the coating can not be under standing water during drying.

Consumption :

• ± 0.4 L/m² per coat.

• White spirit.

• Density: ± 1.02 /cm³
• Viscosity: 7,500-11,500 mPas (Haake 25°C)

Caution: Do not use IKO pro Regenerating Bitumen on flat roofs that can be driven on.
