Regenerating Alu - Paint with high solar reflection coefficient - IKO Pro

Bituminous paint with a high solar reflection coefficient, enriched with aluminum pigments.

Sun-reflecting protection of bituminous membranes against UV rays and aging .

Implementation :

The substrate must be in good condition, clean, free of grease and free from all loose particles.

Impregnate porous surfaces and old bituminous membranes beforehand by applying a coat of primer (IKO pro Primer Bitumen Adérosol - Primer Bitumen SR - Primer ECOL'eau).

Mix IKO pro Regenerating ALU thoroughly before use and during application.

Apply IKO pro Regenerating ALU to the surface to be treated using a soft broom, brush or roller.

Apply two coats for maximum durability and reflectance. Allow the first coat to dry completely before applying the second coat, usually after 24 hours, depending on temperature and atmospheric conditions.

In order to avoid the formation of cracking, the coating can not be under standing water during drying.

Consumption :

• 0.125-0.167 L/m² per coat - respect the recommended consumption.

Tool cleaning:

• White spirit.

Technical properties:

• Dry matter: ± 50%
• Density: ± 0.93 g/cm³
• Viscosity: 12-20 sec (Ford cup 4mm ,25°C)

Caution: Do not use on APP modified bituminous membranes without a slate finish that were installed less than 12 months ago.
