SikaPower 415 - Epoxy structural adhesive - Sika

SikaPower-415 is a cold-applied, heat-curing, 1-component, epoxy-polyurethane sealant. Pre-curing (to skin formation) is possible by controlled exposure to moisture and heat. Pre-curing occurs at room temperature by skin formation through exposure to moisture or heat. SikaPower-415 is manufactured according to ISO 9001 and 14001 quality assurance regulations and the 'responsible care' program.

Areas of application

SikaPower -415 is suitable for caulking welds (e.g. laser welds) and joints (edges) in bodywork manufacturing. A skin forms within 4 hours after application by exposure to air humidity, making the product resistant to washout. Caulking of oily substrates (standard anti-corrosion treatment and oily surfaces, approx. 2 g/m²) is possible by the consumption of oil during heat curing, which is an essential part of the application.
