The honeycomb structure, equipped with water-permeable thermoglued geotextile, ensures that gravel is stabilized. The plates are placed on a base built according to the expected loads. The plates are then filled and covered with decorative gravel or gravel. This prevents gravel or gravel from moving once in place. This results in an extremely strong base and a passable surface with the greatest ease, on foot or by vehicle, regardless of weather conditions.

Why a gravel stabilizer?

Gravel coatings are "trendy." However, there is only one major drawback. In the event of heavy traffic of people or vehicles, gravel may move. The comfort of a gravel coating can be severely compromised.

The solution used before:

You can opt for very fine-grained gravel. In this case, the gravel is stable (e.g. type 0-5 or 0-15 mm gravel). However, as the amount of fine grain increases, water permeability decreases. This generates the formation of puddles, cavities and ruts. In addition, the fine grains get stuck in the soles...

The solution: the stabilizer slabs of gravel:

Opt for a gravel without fine grains (from 4 mm). The gravel is held in place thanks to the gravel stabilizers and the grates are covered with a layer of finishing gravel.

A stable and functional gravel coating, with a modern and elegant look, and perfectly permeable to water. ECCOgravel is a gravel stabilizer with very good pressure resistance, whether empty or filled. For gravel stabilization, gravel should not be inserted under the stabilizer slab at all times. ECCOgravel uses the most advanced bonding techniques and the polyester geotextile bonding is so powerful that this risk is virtually nil.
