Colored Impregnation Guard - Water-repellent colored stain for concrete - Guard Industrie

Colorful Guard Impregnation is a silica lasure designed to protect and embellish the concrete in tone on tone. Formed with mineral pigments, it offers a semi-transparent color that homogenizes the concrete or embellishes its original color.

Coloured Guard impregnation provides waterproof protection to concrete.

Colorful Guard Impregnation is a non-filmogenic total impregnation product that does not flake and blister (fades evenly over time).

Use:

  • Colorful Guard impregnation® can be used horizontally or vertically indoors as well as outdoors on concrete floors and walls (slabs, caps, facades, window supports...).

Preparing support:

  • Apply the product to a clean, dusted, grease-free and dry surface (humidity content less than 5% in mass).
  • To remove stains and traces of pollution use Decap'Facades Guard or Ecological Decap'Sols Guard, for traces of efflorescences, milks or cement sails use Ecological Guard Decap'Laitances.
  • The conditions for the application and preparation of the media must meet DTU 59.1.

Product preparation:

  • Shake the base mechanically for 2 minutes until the product is homogenized.
  • Add the entire pigment kit.
  • Shake again for 2 minutes mechanically until the color in the product is homogenized.

Application:

  • Apply a first pass to the holder. Consumption about 75 to 100 g/m2 (10 to 14 m2/litre).
  • Wait for the first layer to dry for 1 hour at a temperature of 20oC.
  • Mix the lasure again between the 1st and 2nd layer and then apply the 2nd pass on the support.
    Consumption about 75 to 100 g/m2 (10 to 14 m2/litre).
  • The holder is put back into circulation after 24 hours of drying.

Application tools:

For better control and perfect rendering control, apply the product preferentially with a HVLP sprayer or brush.

Consumption:

Consumption depends on the porosity of the material.

  • 150 to 200 g/m2 for 2 layers.
  • A 5kg bucket can cover 25 to 30 square metres
