Everclear 505 liquid - PU glue - Akemi

Two-component liquid PU adhesive , generally no color change on marginal areas, UV stable, almost no yellowing, solvent-free.

Features :

• Can be sanded and polished after approximately 6 hours (20°C), colourable with AKEMI polyester dyes or with polyester concentrates, mixing ratio 4:3.
• For high-quality consolidation of cracks, pore filling and surface improvement of clear, white or transparent-crystalline natural stone such as Onyx, Thassos, Sivec, Carrara marble, Statuario horizontally.
• Due to its low tendency to yellow, the product can be used without restriction both indoors and outdoors.

Use :

1. The surface to be treated must be clean, dust-free and completely dry.
2. Preheated stone surfaces (max. 60°C) slightly reduce working and hardening time, but increase penetration capacity.
3. Mix component A and component B homogeneously in a mixing ratio of 4:3 (by weight).
4. Coloring is possible by adding up to 2% of AKEMI Polyester Dyes / Liquid Concentrated Dyes or Spectrum Pastes.
5. The mixture is applied over the entire surface using a spatula.
   For larger cracks or more absorbent areas, apply several times.
   Continuous cracks must be sealed on the reverse side before treatment.
6. The mixture can be worked for approximately 12 to 15 minutes (20°C), after approximately 6 hours the material can be sanded and polished.
7. Clean the work tools immediately with AKEMI Universal Thinner.

1. Which stones can be treated with Everclear 505?
   It is particularly suited to light and crystalline stones (white marbles, onyx, Thassos, etc.), but is also suitable for granite and limestone depending on the needs.
2. How long before sanding/polishing?
   Approximately 6 hours at 20°C. Time may vary depending on temperature and humidity.
3. Can the product be colored?
   Yes, with AKEMI colorants (up to ~2%).
4. Can it be used outdoors?
   Yes, UV-stable and virtually no yellowing.
5. Is it a structural adhesive?
   Everclear 505 is designed to fill, consolidate, and enhance stone, but not as a structural adhesive for heavy loads. It is more of a technical restoration putty.
6. Required training?
   Yes, due to the diisocyanates, adequate training is mandatory for professional users.
