Everclear 510 - Two-component PU adhesive - Akemi

Akemi Everclear 510 is mainly designed for bonding in the stone industry, natural stones (marble, granite) as well as artificial stones or building materials (concrete, terrazzo).

It is possible to treat very clear or even white stones because the glue does not yellow.
Its consistency in the form of a gel allows vertical application and the production of very thin adhesive joints .

Compatible with other materials, such as synthetic materials, paper, wood, glass,...
Not recommended for bonding with polyolefins (PE, PP), Teflon (eg PTFE), silicone and plasticized materials (eg soft PVC).

Special tips:

• Not suitable for moisture-laden bonding.
• The optimum mechanical and chemical properties are only obtained if the exact quantities are respected when mixing, an excess of component "A" leads to softening and can cause yellowing; a minimum surplus of component B (max 5%) has no influence on the properties.
• The surfaces to be bonded must be dry, clean and grease-free. Moisture leads to the formation of bubbles in the glue and a loss of stability.
• Below 5°C, the product should not be used, as satisfactory hardening will not be obtained.
• Do not expose permanently to a temperature of more than 60°C, short-term temperatures up to 100°C are possible.
• Cured resin can only be removed mechanically.
