Akepox 2020 - Construction glue - Akemi

2-component construction adhesive , semi-thick for filling fine joints and for vertical bonding of natural and artificial stones.
Good adhesion to metal and wet stones.

The cartridges guarantee easy, secure and clean work.
An exact and homogeneous mixture.

Features :

• Very little shrinkage during hardening and minimal tension of the adhesive layer
• Particularly weather-resistant bonding
• Good heat stability: around 60 - 70°C for loaded bonds and around 100 - 110°C for standard bonds
• No deformation of the glue layer
• Good resistance to aging
• Very good resistance to alkalis, and therefore recommended for bonding to concrete
• Recommended on gas-tight materials, due to the absence of solvent
• Good electrical insulation
• Good grip on slightly damp stones
• Recommended for materials sensitive to solvents, such as expanded polystyrene, ABS
• The product does not tend to crystallize, so no storage problem and good safety in use
• Mixing ratio 2:1.

Use :

A: Cartridge System:

1. Thoroughly clean the surfaces to be bonded and roughen them.
2. Remove the cap from the cartridge, insert the cartridge into the gun, operate the handle until material comes out of both openings, if necessary, attach a mixing nozzle.
3. The product can be colored using AKEPOX dyes or concentrates (max.5%).
4. If you use it without a mixing nozzle, the two components must be well mixed.
5. The mixture can be used for about 40 to 50 minutes (20°C).
   The bonded parts are transportable after 6 to 8 hours (20°C), loadable and machinable after 12 to 16 hours (20°C).
   Maximum strength after 7 days (20°C).
6. Tools can be cleaned with AKEMI Thinner Nitro.
7. Heat accelerates and cold retards the hardening reaction.

B: Products in boxes:

1. Thoroughly clean the surfaces to be bonded and roughen them.
2. Mix 2 equivalents in weight or volume of adhesive with 1 equivalent in weight or volume of hardener until obtaining a homogeneous color.
3. The product can be colored using AKEPOX dyes or concentrates (max. 5%).
4. 4. The mixture can be used for approximately 40-50 minutes (20°C).
   The bonded parts are transportable after 6 to 8 hours (20°C), loadable and machinable after 12 to 16 hours (20°C).

3 kg, 22.5 kg and 180 ml cartridge.
