Soudagum FR - Fire retardant acrylic - Soudal

Soudagum FR flame retardant acrylic expands in a fire situation, at temperatures above +180°C, preventing flames and smoke gases from moving between compartments.

Features :

Applications:

• Passageways classified for fire.
• Fire retardant for metal pipes.
• Can be used as a primer, diluted with water to adhere better.
• The surface must be free of dirt and grease.

Manual :

1. Prepare surfaces by cleaning and priming if necessary.
2. Apply paste to achieve a smoke-tight seal.
3. Immediately remove any excess residue (filming after a few minutes).
4. Take into account the slight shrinkage of the paste during drying when finishing the waterproofing.
5. After use, excess paste and residue can easily be wiped off tools, surfaces and hands with a Swipex Wipes cleaning cloth.
