Soudal putty cord FR is a mouldable, elastic, polymer-based, fire-retardant mastic intended for sealing passages in structures classified for fire.
The flame retardant sealant protects flammable electrical boxes and cables from smoke gases and heat up to an EI 120 level.

Features :

• Easily molds into different shapes; the flame retardant cutout can be changed later.
• Suitable, among other things, for protecting single cables, wire harnesses and metal pipes.
• Perfectly sealed against flue gas and air.
• Adheres very well to most materials.
• Suitable for common building materials such as wood, metal, plastic, etc.
• Good sound insulation.
• Long term: does not dry out, permanently elastic composition.
• Resists strong vibrations, suitable for mobile structures (±10%)
• Not toxic at all.
• Does not contain any substance

Manual :

1. The processing temperature must be at least +5°C.
2. Check that surfaces are porous and free of loose dirt.
3. Soudal recommends performing compatibility testing first.
