Soudafoam FR HY Clic&Fix is a high-performance, fire-rated, single-component expanding polyurethane foam (25% higher than standard Soudafoam FR fire-retardant foam). It hardens quickly and offers excellent thermal and acoustic insulation properties. It expands 35 to 40 times its original volume and adheres perfectly to most building materials without a primer. It complies with all international standards.

Thanks to its quick assembly, this system is very user-friendly. Soudafoam FR HY Click and Fix contains CFC- and HCFC-free gases (no risk to the ozone layer). Soudafoam FR HY Click and Fix is a PU foam with flame-retardant properties compliant with the European standard EN 1366-4. Thanks to Duravalve, performance remains optimal throughout its shelf life, even when stored or transported horizontally.

1. Is the foam really fireproof?
   Yes, it meets European standards and can achieve EI 240 depending on the application. It prevents the spread of fire and smoke.
2. Do you need a special gun?
   Yes, this HY Click & Fix version requires a Click & Fix compatible gun. It is not compatible with standard guns.
3. Can it be used outdoors?
   Foam can be used outdoors if it is protected against UV rays by a coating, plaster, or paint. For direct outdoor use, a specially formulated PU foam is preferable.
4. How long does it take to harden?
   It can be cut after 30–40 min and is fully hardened in 12 to 24 h depending on the conditions.
5. Is it suitable for fire doors?
   Yes, it is commonly used to seal fire door frames, in compliance with protocols and certified areas.
6. Can the foam be painted after it has hardened?
   Yes, once fully hardened, the foam can be painted, coated or covered.
7. What changes with EC1 PLUS certification?
