Sika Leveling Coat is a two-component leveling coat based on epoxy resin and polymer-modified cement.
It is the result of advanced cement chemistry and metakaolin, fiber, epoxy and styrene acrylate copolymer technology.

In this way we obtain a high performance product offering excellent adhesion , both on concrete and on balcony tiles . After hardening, a dense layer is obtained, which has polymeric and resinous properties; this layer is not very permeable to water and very durable.
Sika Leveling Coat is formulated to harden quickly and form a durable surface that is already recoatable after 3 days.

Features

• Easy to apply: Pre-dosed materials in easy-to-use quantities, which still only need to be mixed on site, in order to obtain a mortar that is easily applied with a trowel or scraper.
• Adhesion: Excellent adhesion on dry or damp cement-based surfaces and on balcony tiles.

Application domain

Sika Leveling Coat is used for leveling cement-based substrates, as well as for masking the spectrum of tile joints before the application of Sika balcony waterproofing systems.

Application

1. Pour or pump Sika Leveling Coat onto the prepared surface and spread the product to the desired layer thickness with a height-adjustable float, scraper or slat.
2. Then lightly treat the surface with a debubble roller so that the trapped air can escape.
3. Allow to cure for at least 3 days before applying the Sika balcony waterproofing system.
4. Interrupt the layer of Sika Leveling Coat at all construction joints in the existing floor.
5. The product must be placed up to the edge of the joint or crevice wall.
6. Then let it harden for at least 24 hours before filling the joints.
