ProtectGuard Color Thermal is an innovative formula based on cool pigments. These new generation pigments absorb less heat and provide better durability of stained works.

ProtectGuard Color Thermal provides lasting protection against the main causes of damage such as dirt, stains of all kinds, atmospheric pollution, greasy dirt, infiltration, etc. The treated surfaces resist the penetration of water, oil and dirt.
The cleanliness of the treated surfaces is thus ensured.

The product is a stain well suited to concrete . Unlike a paint, it is a semi-transparent product which respects the minerality of the materials and which is available in several opacities depending on the desired result.
The final color depends on the color of the stain and the color of the support. ProtectGuard Color Thermal is a non-film-forming product, the support remains permeable to air and water vapor.

ProtectGuard Color Thermal is a single-component product that does not require the mandatory application of a prior primer.

Use

All types of concrete: common, reinforced, fiber-reinforced, high performance (BFUHP, GRC).
Facades, new or old, interior and exterior.

Implementation

1. Use the product in its pure state: do not dilute.
2. Shake the packaging well before use so as to perfectly homogenize the pigments with the rest of the composition.
3. Carry out a preliminary test.

Application to HVLP:

1. Application from bottom to top in 2 to 4 crossed passes maximum depending on the desired appearance.
2. Do not overload.
3. Drying time between each pass: 15 minutes.

Roller application (only on 100% opacities and on smooth, non-textured surfaces):

1. Application from bottom to top in 2 or 3 passes using the brush, spread the product well on the support without overloading.
2. In case of brush marks, homogenize with the short nap roller.
3. Drying time between each pass: 30 minutes. Protected drying: 24 hours.
4. Maximum effectiveness obtained after 7 days.

Application tools

Apply with an HVLP gun or short nap roller.

Consumption

120 to 160g/m² or 6 to 8 m²/L

Conditioning

1 L, 5 L and 25 L.
