PRESENTATION

The recycled PET fiber (polyethylene terephthalate - polyethylene terephthalate) is durable and dries quickly. It allows you to create a DESIGN and versatile entrance mat. Its customization offers attractive looks for high quality products, thanks to the unique composition of technological textile, support and a multitude of possibilities.

This doormat finds its place in every interior, home, hall, business, store, administration, school or office,... thanks to its great resistance to high frequencies of passage, up to 2,500 per day. GUARANTEE 5 years, 250 washes.

The mat is rollable, flexible, composed or not of underlays adapted to the thickness.

THICKNESS AND EDGE FINISH:

• ± 8 mm with 2 cm rubber edge (standing doormat)
• ± 10 mm without edge (built-in doormat)

The 10mm doormat (without edge) can be placed in a pit and surrounded by a doormat frame.

The 2 cm wide rubber edge has a thickness of 2.5 mm.

DOORMAT UNDERLAYER:

The doormat is available in 2 different underlays.

1. Smooth sole: A smooth rubber sole.
2. Claw sole: A sole raised by rubber “nubs” ideal for dirty places, on slopes or any other place where grip is not optimal.

• Delivery times are guaranteed for STANDARD sizes (and a little less expensive :-))
• For CUSTOM-MADE doormats and frames, a lead time of +- 7 days can be estimated.

INSTRUCTION WHEN SENDING YOUR IMAGE-PHOTO-LOGO

NOTE: All projects are checked before studies and production of a “PROOF” proof.

Only YOUR VALIDATION of the “PROOF” triggers the production of your carpet, then preparation for shipment. Please note, no corrections can be made after validation and production of the BAT.

Instructions for obtaining the BAT after ordering:

1. You must take into account the dimensions ordered and the proportions of your sketch.
2. Your image should, if possible, be provided with the exact dimensions of the project (and in good definition)
3. You send us by email an image/photo of your project in JPG format (this is classic), PDF, PNG, PSD, TIFF, PNG or AI
4. The image is uploaded by our computer graphics department and checked.
5. The image is resized following your ordered exterior dimensions. It is reduced, where applicable, by the thickness of the frame or the rubber edge
6. The colors of your image are recalculated and/or mixed to fit into the palette of 66 basic colors
7. A BAT test is sent to you by email and/or to your customer account
8. You can request corrections or adaptations*
9. You validate, unequivocally, the proof by email.
10. We confirm and launch the production of your personalized and tailor-made carpet.

Attention :

• Take into account a margin of +- 3 cm on the edges of the image in order to manage tolerances
• Item color and print color may vary from the image shown on screen or on paper.
• You can send us the Pantone/RGB references of your logo to respect the marking colors. Without indication we will use standard colors. Technical deviations from Pantone/RGB colors must be tolerated.
• The BAT proof is sent in real size at 100%, unless the dimensions and/or a different percentage are indicated (for example 25%: the final result is therefore 4 times larger).
• Please check the proof carefully. After your approval from the proof, we are no longer responsible for errors in the text and/or logo and/or image.

* In order to avoid abuse, corrections to the BAT are possible within the limit of 3 studies. However, for the less experienced, participation in infographic services could be considered to obtain the desired project.

When ordering the custom frame, it is necessary to indicate the external dimensions of the frame . Our technical services will calculate the useful dimensions of the doormat.

HD digital printing is carried out on white fibers, specialized and durable dyes are sprayed directly onto the fibers (like current color printers).

During the drying process, the color fuses to the fibers for maximum hold over time.

The mat or doormat is then vulcanized onto the rubber in order to permanently fix the fibers.

SUPPORT & BACK

1.5mm (±8mm doormat) or 3mm (±10mm doormat) rubber sole

The printed mat can also be glued to the underlay or attached using Velcro or double-sided adhesive, etc. However, this reduces the options for care and maintenance.

ECOLOGICAL FOOTPRINT

The manufacturer is committed to reducing the ecological footprint for the production of its products.

For this reason, the products are made from 100% reusable energy and with local materials.

The production of ECOSTAR doormats is done with PET yarns, 100% of which comes from recycled material.

CLEANING INSTRUCTION

ECOSTAR mats can be cleaned in different ways.

• They can clean in laundry/industrial cleaning (see laundering instructions)
• Machine washable at low temperature.
• Vacuumed regularly (daily in high traffic areas; weekly in low traffic applications)
• Cleaned with extractor or hosed down as needed to remove heavy dirt. Hang to dry.

Mats must always be dry before being put back into service.

LAUNDRY WASHING INSTRUCTION

• Rinse, 2-3 min. on an average water level with a maximum temperature of 49°C
• Rinse (optional), 2-3 min. on an average water level with a maximum temperature of 49°C
• Break, 2-3 mins. on a high water level with a maximum temperature of 49°C
• Rinse, 2 min. on high water level with cold temperature
• Rinse, 2 min. on high water level with cold temperature
• Extract at low speed, 1-2 min.
• Shake with the rotating drum, 1 min.
• Extract, on a maximum of 250G, 3-5 Min.
• Dry (optional), 5-10 min. with a maximum basket temperature of 82°C
• Cooling, 5 min.

Additional recommendations:

• For heavily soiled carpets, increase the temperature to max. 60°C.
• The rupture must not exceed a pH of 9.5; use non-ionic, low pH detergents.
• Do not overdry the carpets; The temperature of the dryer basket should not exceed 82°C.
• If the carpets are not dry, the final rinse can be increased to 49°C. This will reduce moisture retention after extraction.
• Lay rugs flat after removing them from the washer; allow mats to cool before rolling.

Attention :

• The doormat is printed using a press which tints the fiber of the doormat. The doormat then goes through an oven to fix the color in the fiber. This passage in the oven will cause the doormat to shrink by +/- 2 cm on each side. Please be careful not to transmit photos, images, drawings, logos, etc. with border elements which could disappear when the doormat shrinks or be sure to anticipate this shrinkage by adding a margin of +/- 2 cm to your illustration yourself.
