Colored glue mortar - Seifert

Properties:

• Mortar ready to spoil, consisting of hydraulic Binder and calibrated aggregates, intended for the laying bed and for the realization of joints.
• Use whatever the porosity of the bricks.
• Joints from 3 to 6 mm.

Areas of application:

• Glue absorbent bricks or not.
• Glue concrete elements.

Instructions for use:

Preparing the media:

• The support must be clean, healthy and dusted.
• For porous substrates, or in hot weather, moisten the bricks beforehand.

Product preparation:

• Mix manually or mechanically preferably 1 bag of 25 kg of mortar with ± 4 litres of drinking water about until a homogeneous mixture is obtained.

Product application:

• The product can be applied to the pouch or mechanically using a piston pump.
• Fill the vertical and horizontal joints completely.

consumption:

• Approx. 4 kg/m²/mm thickness.
• One does not take into account with possible perforations of the bricks.

Precautions for use:

• Operating temperature limits: + 5 °c to + 27 °c.
• Do not use on dripping, frozen or freezing time within 48 hours.
• After finishing, and by strong heat or wind, protect the mortar from desiccation by humidification of the surface without washing it off.
• After finishing, and in rainy weather, protect the fresh masonry from an excessive absorption of water by covering it in order to avoid the appearance of efflorescence.
• Do not use for submerged substrates.
• Never mix fresh and old mortar, or add water to the product once it has been wasted.
• Always put a sample for the approval of the colors (keep in mind that you put the sample to the same climatic conditions as the masonry).

Characteristics:

• Flexural strength at 28 days: > 5 MPa
• Compressive strength at 28 days: > 17 MPa
• Start of socket at 20 °c: 6-7 hours
• End of outlet at 20 °c: 7-9 hours
