Sikalastic-6100 FX - Lightweight membrane for waterproofing and protecting concrete - Sika

Single-component, cement -based, elastic and flexible , fast-hardening lightweight membrane for waterproofing and protecting concrete .

Sikalastic-6100 FX is composed of specially selected cements, lightweight fillers , sand and special polymers in powder form.

When mixed with water, Sikalastic-6100 FX achieves a fluid consistency so that it can be easily applied manually or by spraying .

Structures waterproofed with this product can be filled with water (including drinking water) after 72 hours of curing.

Features :

• Single component product: just add water
• High elastic properties: high static and dynamic crack bridging capacities, maintains its elasticity under immersion and up to -10 °C. High durability and protection without cracking
• Low density/light formulation: low consumption offering high yield and time saving in application
• Fast curing: allows early service capability. Tanks and reservoirs can be filled after just 3 days of curing.
• Waterproof from 2 mm thickness: withstands up to 5 bar of water pressure
• Excellent adhesion
• Breathable: permeable to water vapor

1. For interior and exterior application
2. As a waterproofing layer for water retaining structures including drinking water, pipes, basins, etc.
3. To ensure the protection of foundations
4. External waterproofing of small roofs and balconies
5. Waterproofing of bathrooms and shower trays
6. To protect concrete surfaces from carbonation and chloride attack
7. For areas constantly submerged under water
8. Suitable as a blow hole filler prior to coating
