SP030 - Transparent polymer hybrid adhesive - Illbruck

SP030 is a polymer hybrid technology glue-sealant with neutral cross-linking, single-component, high modulus of elasticity, perfectly transparent, intended for transparent, flexible and waterproof bonding.

Its cross-linking is carried out by moisture recovery.

Advantage: 

• Absolute transparency (crystal).
• Permanent elasticity.
• Odorless, solvent-free, 0% isocyanates.
• Quick take.
• Thixotropic product (does not flow).
• Can be painted after cross-linking.

Preparation: 

• In the case of application with an air gun, the maximum pressure is 3 bar.
• The supports must be clean, dry, degreased, dusted and free of non-sticking agents.

Implementation: 

• Cord application using a manual or pneumatic gun.
• Put the supports to be assembled in contact before the skin formation time.
• The optimal mechanical strengths are obtained after complete cross-linking of the glue.
• For large glue parts, it is preferable to apply multiple cords of diameter 10mm maximum in order to promote air circulation.
• On some supports such as PMMA or rigid PVC, it is advisable to check the right adhesion beforehand; if necessary, it may be useful to apply the AT160 primary beforehand.

Hygiene and safety precautions

• Keep out of reach of children. 
• Avoid contact with skin and eyes. 

Cleaning: 

On still fresh product, use the biodegradable AA409 cleaner. For cross-linked glue, only the use of mechanical means (abrasion, cutter, etc.) allows cleaning.

Conditioning: 

• Cartridge of 310 ml.
