SP350 - High tack polymer hybrid adhesive - Illbruck

SP350 is a polymer hybrid technology glue with neutral cross-linking, very high viscosity, single-component and high modulus of elasticity, which is particularly suitable for bonding brackets and acoustic panels.

Its cross-linking is carried out by moisture recovery.

Advantage: 

• Immediate tack/significant suction cup effect.
• Permanent elasticity.
• Excellent grip without primer on most materials, even wet.
• Odorless, solvent-free and 0% isocyanates.
• "V" nozzle allowing a template for extrusion.
• Uv, weather, shock and vibration resistant.
• Can be painted after cross-linking.

Preparation: 

• In the case of application with an air gun, the maximum pressure is 3 bar.
• All supports must be strong, dusted, degreased and free of non-stick agents.
• Cleaning of non-absorbent substrates should be carried out using the Illbruck AT160 cleaner.
• On painted or fragile supports, it is recommended to carry out tests beforehand.

Implementation: 

• Cord application using a manual or pneumatic gun.
• Put the supports to be assembled in contact before the skin formation time.
• The optimal mechanical strengths are obtained after complete cross-linking of the glue.
• For large glue parts, it is better to apply multiple cords with a diameter of up to 10mm, in order to promote air circulation.

Hygiene and safety precautions

• Keep out of reach of children
• Avoid contact with skin and eyes.

Cleaning: 

• The still fresh SP350 glue is removed using the illbruck AT160 cleaner.
• For hardened glue, only the use of mechanical means allows cleaning (e.g. razor blade, abrasion).

Conditioning: 

• Cartridge of 310 ml.
• Color: black, white.
