Seal-All Joint - Sand and paving stone joints - PTB Compaktuna

Seal-All Joint is used to secure sand between concrete pavers and clay pavers .

Features :

• Retardes sand erosion and weed growth.
• Specifically recommended when the thickness of the joints is insufficient to allow the use of a conventional pointing mortar.
• Also protects the surfaces of the paving stones.
  The pavers become more water-repellent, which protects them against dirt.
• May change surface appearance and color.
  In general, a deeper and more intense tone is obtained.
• Aqueous solution, and can give rise to the formation of a film on the surface, certainly on non-porous structures such as blue stone, porcelain stoneware, etc.
• Application on dense paving stones is therefore not recommended.

Manual :

Support:

1. The surface to be treated must be dry, healthy, firm, dust-free and clean.
   Algae and mold must be destroyed and removed beforehand.
2. Application will be best done in dry weather.
   Preferably, the pavers have been recently grouted with DRIED QUARTZOUS Type 2 or DRIED QUARTZOUS BROWN sand.
3. The joints are preferably densified, so that the sand grains can effectively be linked.
4. In rainy or foggy weather, application is not recommended.
5. Likewise when the weather forecast predicts rain within 24 hours, the application must be postponed.

Implementation :

1. SEAL-ALL JOINT can preferably be applied with a sprayer, under pressure or not. The joints must be thoroughly wetted so that they are hardened.
   The product is used as is, undiluted.
2. The treated surface must be impregnated at once, uniformly and abundantly, until saturation.
3. The product becomes transparent after drying.
4. If puddles form on the pavers, it is advisable to remove the excess product from the joints with a squeegee.

Consumption :

0.5 to 1 L/m², depending on the width of the joint and the porosity of the paving stone

Drying time :

Depends on bad weather and the nature of the support and is approximately 24 hours.
After 4 hours, pedestrian crossing is possible.
