PU Foam and Gun Cleaner - NBS Gun Internal Cleaning Cleaner - DL Chemicals

Cleaner for internal cleaning of the NBS gun and removal of uncured polyurethane foam or PU glue.

• Cleaner for fresh PU foam or PU glue.

Applications:

• Removing uncured PU foam or polyurethane adhesive from the gun and surfaces
• PU foam gun cleaner

Instructions for use:

1. Preparation :
   • It is advisable to test the product on all surfaces before use.
   • Shake the aerosol can vigorously at least 20 times.
2. Laid :
   • To remove fresh PU foam or PU glue: Place the spray nozzle onto the valve of the PU Foam & Gun Cleaner. Hold the cleaner correctly and press the spray nozzle. Remove the nozzle after use.
   • Cleaning the spray gun: Aim the adapter can at the nozzle with the gun upside down. Remove any fresh foam residue from the nozzle and adapter with the cleaner. Then screw the cleaner onto the adapter while keeping the gun upside down.
   • Pull the trigger to fill the gun with liquid. Spray until all foam residue is gone. Let the liquid sit for a few minutes. Pull the trigger again until any remaining residue disappears.
   • Finally, unscrew the Foam & Gun Cleaner from the gun. Pull the trigger until the gun is completely empty. The gun is now cleaned and can be used or stored for a longer period.

1. Does this product remove hardened PU foam?
   No, the PU Foam and Gun Cleaner is only effective on fresh, uncured foam. Once cured, PU foam must be removed mechanically.
2. Is it compatible with all foam guns?
   It is specifically designed for NBS pistols, but may also fit other standard pistols using a compatible thread. Always check compatibility before use.
3. Can it be used on the skin?
   No. In case of accidental skin contact, clean immediately with a dry cloth, then wash with soap and water. Avoid all direct contact.
4. How often should you clean your spray gun?
   It is recommended to clean the spray gun after each can change and before prolonged storage after a job is finished. This prevents the foam inside the mechanism from hardening.
