FUGEX - Solvent-based cleaner for stripping epoxy joints - Lithofin

The special cleaner contains highly effective and carefully selected organic solvents . They make it possible to quickly and safely remove the remains of one-component or two-component paver joint mortars .

This product does not contain acids and is therefore also suitable for surfaces such as concrete stone and limestone .

The gel consistency makes it easy to apply, but the product is still easy to rinse off with water.

Application domain :

This product is applicable both indoors and outdoors on all ceramic and sandstone surfaces, natural stone such as granite, gneiss and quartzite and uncoated concrete stone.

Manual :

Application on single-component paver joint mortar:

1. Start by moistening the surface well.
2. Dilute the product with water and a dosage of approx. 1:5 and then distribute evenly and generously with a brush.
3. Leave to act for approx. 20 minutes at a surface temperature of 20°C.
4. Brush occasionally during the exposure time.
5. Rinse thoroughly with clean water using a brush.

Yield: approx. 30 m²/l depending on the absorbency of the surface.

Application on two-component paver joint mortar:

1. Apply the pure product on the dry surface. Distribute evenly and in large quantities using a brush.
2. Leave to act for approx. 60 mins. (for very stubborn residues up to 2 hours) at a surface temperature of 20°C and brush occasionally.
3. Then rinse thoroughly with clean water using a brush.

Yield: approx. 3 to 5 m²/l depending on the absorbency of the surface.

Please note: elements sensitive to solvents such as coated concrete stones, varnishes, sealants, plastics, rubber, eloxal, zinc, etc. must be protected.

Avoid product contact with grass and plants, water well before and after.
