Extra thin polyester finishing coating.

• Polyester putty for repairing damaged surfaces and as a finishing coat before painting.
• Thanks to its very fine grain and sandability, it is perfectly suited for all finishing work, before painting.
• Not suitable for galvanized or zinc surfaces.

Applications:

• Filling of crevices, cracks and hollows in metal sheets, even zinc-plated and galvanized ones.
• Repairing scratches, tears and dents on cars.
• Repairs to surfaces made of metal, polyester and wood.
• Filling cracks in the wood.

Instructions for use:

1. Apply a small amount of paste to a flat surface and mix it with 2 to 3% hardener.
2. Mix thoroughly until the hardener strands are no longer visible.
3. Do not mix more product than you can use within ± 5 min.
4. Apply the mixture quickly and smoothly using a spatula (in several layers if necessary), until the top surface slightly overhangs the adjacent part.
5. After hardening, it is possible to continue the surface treatment (sanding, painting, etc.).
6. Cleaning product: Acetone
7. Repair: With the same product.

1. Can this coating be used on plastic?
   Yes, it is compatible with many bodywork-grade plastics (excluding untreated PE/PP). Always check adhesion on a small area first.
2. How long should you wait before sanding?
   The product can be sanded after 5 to 10 minutes depending on the ambient temperature.
3. What type of sanding should be used?
   Use a fine grit (P240 to P400) to obtain a perfectly smooth finish before painting.
4. Is this coating heat resistant?
   Yes, once hardened, it can withstand the temperatures associated with automotive painting cycles.
5. Can it be applied to aluminum?
   Yes, its formulation guarantees good adhesion to aluminum, galvanized steel, steel and polyester.
6. How much hardener should be added?
   Between 2 and 3% hardener. An excessive amount accelerates drying and can weaken the material.
7. Can you paint directly on it?
   It is recommended to apply a primer before painting for optimal adhesion.
8. How long does the mixture remain usable?
   The working time is approximately 4 to 6 minutes, depending on the temperature.
