Purigo 5S - Non-film forming surface hardener and dust suppressant - Sika

Purigo 5S is ready to use and is used to harden and dustproof the surface of concrete (non-film forming).
Purigo 5S cannot compensate for insufficient mechanical strength or poor quality concrete.

Application areas

• Purigo 5S can be used on both new and old concrete. It is not suitable for natural stones.
• Purigo 5S can be used to harden friable surfaces before painting.
• Concrete repairs are perfectly feasible after using Purigo 5S.

Application

1. Purigo 5S is ready to use. and can be spread over the concrete surface with a plastic watering can or sprayer.
2. It should be watered or sprayed back and forth and regularly to ensure uniform penetration.
3. Do not leave puddles.
4. Distribute well by brushing the surface.
5. Normally 2 coats are enough.
6. Cleaning with an industrial vacuum cleaner is recommended between coats.
7. A 3rd coat is necessary if the surface is very porous.
8. After the final treatment, wait 24 hours and wash with plenty of water or, for the installation of parquet, clean using only an industrial vacuum cleaner (no water).

Consumption

Depends on surface texture and porosity: approx. 0.15 to 0.25 kg/m² and per coat.
