SikaPower-2955 is a 2-component polyurethane adhesive with excellent adhesion properties.
It has been specially developed for the repair of plastic bumpers and other plastic elements.

Application areas

The SikaPower-2955 is suitable for repairing plastics such as e.g. retouching, clip gluing and renovation.
This product is intended exclusively for experienced professionals.
Always carry out preliminary tests on current supports and in local conditions to establish adhesion and compatibility between the glue and the material to be glued.

Application

1. Sand the surface using emery paper with a grit of P80 to P180.
2. Clean and degrease the surface before applying SikaPower -2900 Primer.
3. Depending on the type of media, other preprocessing steps may be necessary.
4. Apply SikaPower -2955 using a suitable piston gun.
5. To ensure proper mixing, SikaPower -2900 mixing tips are required.
6. First extrude the glue without the mixing tip in order to balance the filling quantities in the cartridge, then mount the mixer and eliminate the first centimeters of glue.
7. Apply SikaPower - 2955 at a temperature between +10°C and +30°C (product temperature, support temperature and ambient temperature).

Conditioning

Double 50 ml cartridge
