Alu-Toiture - Anti-UV waterproofing for roofs - Aquaplan

A flexible reflective renovation layer , aluminum colour, for the protection and sealing of bituminous roofs and gutters.

Alu-Toiture repairs, seals, regenerates and maintains the existing roof covering , thus helping to fight against premature aging.
In addition, Alu-Toiture lowers the temperature of your roof and therefore allows you to maintain a cooler atmosphere inside your home for longer.

Application :

Can be used on bituminous roofs and gutters as well as on metal structures.

Useful information:

• ALU-TOITURE is composed of bitumen and aluminum pigments.
• Store ALU-TOITURE in a cool place.
• Avoid applying the coating on bituminous surfaces less than 12 months old.
• Do not apply in direct sunlight or if the ambient temperature or the temperature of the substrate is below 3°C or above 27°C.
• Do not apply if there is a risk of rain within 24 hours.
• Clean your tools with white spirit.

Manual :

1. Dust and degrease the dry surface first.
2. Shake ALU-TOITURE vigorously before and during use.
   Aluminum pigments must be well mixed for even appearance and optimum action.
3. Apply 2 coats of ALU-TOITURE equally using a brush or a roller at a rate of 0.12 l/m²/coat depending on the substrate.
4. Only apply the 2nd coat after the previous coat is completely dry.
   This lasts about 24 hours depending on temperature and atmospheric conditions.
