Knauf Shower sealing kit contains all the products needed to seal private showers.
The kit includes a pot of sealing emulsion of 4 kg, a sealing strip for the corners of 5 mx 13.5 cm and finally two sealing sleeves .

Application domain :

The Sealing Kit provides waterproof and elastic protection for substrates before laying tiles, but also in rooms or areas corresponding to water exposure class EA and EB according to NIT 227 "Wall tiles" published by the BBRI.

The product exhibits very good adhesion to the majority of concrete substrates, aerated concrete, to lime-based coatings, cement or plaster, plasterboard, fibroplaster or cement (e.g. Knauf Aquapanel board), masonry, stone or wooden supports, chipboard, anhydrite or cement based screeds.

• Can also be used on a support subject to thermal stress (underfloor or wall heating).

Properties and advantages:

• Covers cracks up to 2 mm: offers high security even if cracks appear later.
• Makes the supports very watertight and prevents water from penetrating them.
• Easy to apply: application by roller, brush or brush.
• Ready to use and without solvents.
• Silicone-tolerant.

Remarks :

• Do not use the Sealing kit for showers in the presence of stagnant water (drinking water cisterns, fountains, swimming pools, etc.).
• Not suitable for ground contact applications

Composition :

Sealing emulsion in aqueous dispersion of synthetic latex and inert fillers.
