Hybrid grouting mortar based on specific high-strength polymers with a beading effect for making joints from 1 to 20 mm wide.
- Ceramikapro joint is an improved (2) cement-based (C) grouting mortar with reduced water absorption (W) and high abrasion resistance (A) of class CG2W A according to ISO 13007 -3.
Application domain :
Ceramikapro Joint can be used for grouting tiles of all types: mosaics, porcelain stoneware, thin slabs, ceramic tiles of all sizes, natural stone, marble and composite materials.
It can be applied on floors and walls, indoors or outdoors.
It is suitable for both private and public use, such as:
- commercial or industrial surfaces;
- urban development;
- areas subject to heavy traffic;
- areas subject to significant temperature differences;
- in swimming pools, ponds or fountains.
Ceramikapro Joint cannot be used in the following cases:
- for joints with a width > 20 mm;
- on a support with high deformability;
- to fill fractionation or expansion joints;
- on substrates subject to rising damp;
- for floors requiring specific chemical resistance.

Remarks :
Knauf CeramikaPRO C2TE glue should not be used in the following cases:
- Do not mix the CeramikaPro Joint with other products and never add water at the time of setting.
- Never use dirty or brackish water.
- Apply the product at temperatures between + 5 and + 35°C
- The color of the joint after drying may vary slightly depending on the amount of mixing water, the drying time and the conditions of use.
It is therefore advisable to mix the slurry with the recommended quantity of water and to proceed with the implementation under appropriate conditions. - Premature grouting after laying the tiles, cold and humid climatic conditions, excess mixing or cleaning water, a substrate that is still damp are all factors that can cause efflorescence (whitish rising on the surface of the joint).
- In hot weather and/or strong winds, for grouting porous tiles (natural stone, non-slip tiles, earthenware, etc.), moisten the joints before filling to prevent the mortar from scorching.
- Ceramikapro joint is suitable for grouting all types of tiles.
However, on relatively porous or rough tiles, cleaning can be difficult (if necessary, protect the tiles to avoid any risk of staining). - In all cases, it is necessary to carry out a preliminary test before treating the site in its entirety or, if necessary, to apply a protective treatment to the surface, avoiding any penetration into the joints.
