Aluseal - Putty for corner cut-outs in aluminium profiles - Soudal

Aluseal is a rubber and resin based sealant, ideal for corrosion protection of aluminum profile cuts and sealing of aluminum profiles.
Can be used manually with a sealing gun and standard nozzle or with the Tekna TK 259 machine (tested).

Features :

• Non-aggressive with lacquers or other coatings used in window manufacturing
• Transparent, high elasticity and water and UV resistant
• Can stay open for a very long time and compatible with the glues used to mount windows - Soudabond 641 and Soudabond 642 Duo
• Applicable with manual or pneumatic gun
• Can also be used with the Tekna TK259 machine

Applications:

• Corrosion protection of cut edges of extruded window profiles
• Permanent sealing (weather, water, air) of the miter cuts of the assembled aluminum window profiles.

Manual :

1. Apply with a manual or pneumatic gun, or with the Tekna® TK 259 machine.
2. If necessary, finish with a painter's knife or a damp cloth.
3. AluSeal can be removed with Surface Cleaner as long as the product has not hardened.
4. The surface must be clean, dry, dust free and degreased. AluSeal is not a glue.
5. For bonding aluminum angles in extruded window profiles, Soudal offers a one-component solution: Soudabond 641, and two-component: Soudabond 642 Duo.
