Silirub P2 - Neutral silicone construction and glazing sealant - Soudal
Silirub P2 is a high quality, low odor single component glazing sealant based on neutral silicone.
It is overcoatable with many water-based or weak-solvent wood paints.
Features :
- Easy to apply
- Unalterable color and resistant to UV rays
- Dry smoothing possible
- Permanent elasticity after polymerization
- Virtually odorless
- Compatible with many water-based and weak-solvent paints (lacquers).
Applications:
- For finishing joints when installing insulating and laminated glass (see technical data sheet for specific conditions).
- For burglar-proof glazing. For grouting railings, balconies and other structural elements.
- External connection joints on all types of supports. mandatory paint compatibility test
Manual :
- Light sanding improves adhesion.
- Apply with a manual or pneumatic gun.
- Clean with White Spirit or Soudal Surface Cleaner immediately after use (before hardening).
- Finishing: With a soapy solution or a Soudal smoothing product, before lamination.
- Before starting the painting work, we advise you to degrease the putty.
- Repair: With the same product.
