Silirub P2T - Neutral silicone sealant that can be painted over - Soudal
Silirub P2 is a neutral silicone sealant according to ISO 11600 G 20HM, which can be painted after drying.
Features :
- Very malleable
- Unalterable color and resistant to UV rays
- Dry smoothable
- Permanent elasticity after polymerization
- Virtually odorless
- Compatible with many water-based and weak-solvent paints (lacquers)
Applications:
- Finishing joints when installing insulating and laminated glass (see also the paragraph on compatibility with glass) in accordance with the NPR3577 standard.
- For burglar-proof glazing. Meets the requirements for burglar-resistant glass according to the Politiekeurmerk Veilig Wonen.
- For grouting railings, balconies and other structural elements. External connection joints on all types of supports.
Manual :
- Prevent soapy water from penetrating between the wall and the mastic (to avoid possible unhooking at the edge).
- Light sanding improves adhesion.
- Before starting the painting work, we advise you to degrease the filler.
- Method of application: With manual or pneumatic gun.
- Cleaning agent: With White Spirit or Soudal Surface Cleaner immediately after use (before hardening).
- Finishing: Can be dry smoothed, With a soapy solution or a Soudal smoothing product, before lamination.
- Repair: With the same product
