Silirub+ S8800 is a high-quality, neutral, elastic, one-component silicone-based sealant for natural stone.

Features :

• No staining (edge zone pollution) on porous surfaces such as marble, granite and other natural stones.
• No hydrophobic effect on natural stone.

Instructions for use:

1. Apply with a manual or pneumatic spray gun. Clean with white spirit or Soudal Surface Cleaner immediately after use (before hardening).
2. Finishing: Apply a soapy solution or Soudal smoothing compound before the coating forms a film. Do not allow the smoothing compound to dry on the filler or substrate.
3. After sufficient skin has formed on the putty, rinse the smoothing product with clean water.
4. Repair: With the same product.

1. Can the Silirub+ S8800 stain marble or bluestone?
   No, its neutral anti-migration formulation has been specially developed to prevent stains, even on the most sensitive natural stones.
2. Can it be used in a bathroom?
   Yes, it is perfectly resistant to moisture and mold. It is ideal for shower walls, sinks, bathtubs and natural stone countertops.
3. Can the sealant be painted?
   No, like all silicones, it cannot be painted over.
4. What is the difference between Silirub S8800 and a classic silicone?
   Standard silicone can migrate into stone and stain it. S8800 is certified stain-resistant and designed specifically for natural materials.
5. Can it be used outdoors?
   Yes, it is 100% resistant to UV rays, frost and weathering.
6. Is a primer necessary before application?
   In most cases, no. However, for some very porous surfaces, a test is recommended.
7. How long do you have to wait before filling with water?
   Allow 24 hours for optimal sealing (varies depending on temperature and humidity).
