Mirobond is a high-quality, neutral, elastic, single-component, silicone-based adhesive for mirrors.

1. Can Mir-O-Bond glue damage the mirror's silvering?
   No, its neutral formula is specially developed to prevent any chemical attack on the mirror's backing. It is 100% compatible with modern mirrors, unlike adhesives based on acetic silicone or solvents.
2. Can this glue be used in a bathroom?
   Yes, Soudal Mir-O-Bond is perfectly suited to humid environments, it remains elastic and does not degrade on contact with water vapor.
3. Should the glue be applied in beads or in dots?
   Both methods are possible, but Soudal recommends vertical cords to allow ventilation and prevent moisture from being trapped behind the mirror.
4. What is the maximum surface area of a mirror that can be glued?
5. The adhesive can support large mirrors, but it is advisable to follow these guidelines: thickness ≥ 4 mm, properly prepared substrate, even beads, and temporary support if necessary. For very large formats (> 3 m²), additional mechanical fixings are recommended.
6. How long does it take for the glue to harden?
   Initial setting time: a few minutes. Handleable after 1–2 hours. Final strength: 24–48 hours. These values may vary depending on temperature and humidity.
7. Can you paint over it?
   On visible areas, yes, Mir-O-Bond glue can be covered by most paints after complete polymerization.
8. At what temperature can I place the mirror?
   Between +5 °C and +35 °C for optimal adhesion.
9. How many cartridges are needed?
   On average, 1 cartridge for ± 2–3 m² depending on the width of the cords.
