Colour Enhancer Plus - Akemi

Transports the Akemi Stone Ink dye into the porous matrix of the stone and maintains its reaction for a long time.
Color Reinforcement Plus is used for the treatment of absorbent honed and polished natural or artificial stones such as marble , slate , Solnhofen stone, sandstone, granite , gneiss or concrete agglomerate.

Use :

1. Cleaning Surfaces must be clean and free of layers of wax or other products.
   Outside, check that the stones do not contain harmful salts (nitrate, sulphate, chloride) as these prevent proper absorption of the product.
   After cleaning, rinse thoroughly each time.
   Before treatment, the stone must be completely dry.
   Usually after 1-2 days.
   The desirable application temperature is between 15 and 25°C as well as 24 hour rain protection.
   The surface must not be heated either by underfloor heating or by sunlight.
2. For color adaptation the product can be colored with AKEMI Stone Ink (max. 30%).
3. Creation of a sampling surface: before starting work, it is advisable to create a sufficiently large sampling surface in order to evaluate the appearance (color intensification, coloring and concentration of the color) as well as the mode of application and consumption.
   For more absorbent surfaces it is imperative to proceed with a homogeneous application (spray) in order to obtain a uniform appearance.
4. Apply a thin, even layer of undiluted product with a brush or paint roller for small surfaces (e.g. corners, skirting boards, walkways, etc.), with a sprayer for colored product and large surfaces, and allow to penetrate.
5. Approximately 10 to 15 minutes after application and at the start of drying, remove the excess with an absorbent cloth.
6. Surfaces treated with the colored product must be additionally cleaned with AKEMI Nettoyant I.
7. Tools can be cleaned with AKEMI Nitro Thinner.
8. For routine cleaning, we recommend AKEMI Savon Pierre or AKEMI Crystal Clean.
